MacRob has approved rowers getting changed at school during their lunch break and travelling to the rowing club in sports uniform.  Please try to arrive in sports uniform.

An extra layer like a waterproof jacket is useful in cooler conditions, a sports cap and water bottle are handy for hot days.

Rowers are able to leave their belongings securely inside the clubrooms, and mobile phones should be left in school backpacks to prevent accidents in the boats.

If participants cannot swim 50m in light clothing, personal flotation vests will be provided and can easily be worn while in the boat.

All rowers will need to understand our water safety processes. The boats we teach in are very stable, and the risk of falling into the water very low.

If a rower is unable to attend a session, please email Schools@yrowingclub.com.au . Changes in attendance mean we need to reconfigure the crews. The more notice we have, the better planned we can be. There will be no refund for missed sessions.

Our Google maps address is 34-36 Lakeside Drive, Albert Park.

Very strong winds or thunderstorms are not suitable for rowing, but these can pass quickly and there are activities to be done on land. So please come along!
