About Us
The Y Rowing Club is housed within 2 boat bays on the ground floor of the Park Function Centre on Albert Park Lake in Melbourne.
The Y Rowing Club was founded in 1910 to provide rowing opportunities for women.
While the Centre offers programs for all, membership is still open only to women.

International Success
The ‘Y’ has been at the forefront in popularising rowing for women. Its members were the first to represent Australia at World Championships and a Lightweight Four recorded Australian women’s first success at international level in 1979.
National and State Success
The Y Rowing Club attends many regattas across the state and interstate and has had success at State and National level in the past few years.
If racing in Head, Sprint or Masters events doesn’t interest you the Y Rowing Club also offers an active social and beginner squad.
Child Safe Standards
The Y Rowing Club have adopted Rowing Victoria’s Child Safe Policy.
The safety of all children at our club is important to us All coaches and senior club members hold current Working with Children checks.
National Success
The Y Rowing Club won gold in the Women’s Coxless 4 in 2015 and Silver in 2014
