Located on Melbourne’s beautiful Albert Park Lake, the Y Rowing Club provides an opportunity for people of all ages (from teens through to mature age adults) to learn and enjoy rowing in a safe and friendly atmosphere and at an affordable price.
We are an all female club which has a range of squads to suit all skill levels from beginner to competitive. We offer learn to row programs for both males and females, and have pathways available for those wanting to return from rowing after a break
The Club is open for rowing, subject to following strict COVID restrictions, for all current members.

If you’ve never rowed before, and would like to give it a try, our Come & Try sessions offer the opportunity to try rowing in a relaxed environment with other complete beginners.

Those wanting to learn more can sign up for a course of rowing lessons that will develop their technique.
After completing the Learn to Row Program, or if you have rowed before, you can join the Advancement Squad (A-Squad).
